Tips To Reduce Stress!
  • Take a walk around the block to change your focus
  • Sit quietly and take 12 slow breaths in and out through your nose
  • Call a friend or relative who is a good listener and tell them how you are feeling - this can help to change your perspective; you can also ask for help
  • Eat a snack if you are hungry
  • Take a short nap if you are tired
  • Write about the stress you are feeling – this can also help to change your perspective
  • Make a list of what you are grateful for
  • Get regular exercise, such as walking, hiking or bike riding
  • Play some music that is fun and encourages you to move!
  • Drink water at regular intervals during the day
  • Eat 5 – 6 small meals a day: Less stressful on your digestive system and your metabolic rate increases
Procrastination may be caused by tasks that are overwhelming you
  • Break big tasks into smaller, more manageable ones
  • Brainstorm with someone – bounce around different solutions
  • Stagger the more difficult tasks in between the tasks that are more pleasant
  • Set small, manageable goals
  • Reward yourself after accomplishing a goal
