  Tips To Reduce Stress!

  1. Take a walk around the block to change your focus
  1. Sit quietly and take 12 slow breaths in and out through your nose
  1. Call a friend or relative who is a good listener and tell them how you are feeling - this can help to change your perspective; you can also ask for help
  1. Eat a snack if you are hungry
  1. Take a short nap if you are tired
  1. Write about the stress you are feeling – this can also help to change your perspective
  1. Make a list of what you are grateful for
  1. Get regular exercise, such as walking, hiking or bike riding
  1. Play some music that is fun and encourages you to move!
  1. Drink water at regular intervals during the day
  1. Eat 5 – 6 small meals a day: Less stressful on your digestive system and your metabolic rate increases

  Procrastination may be caused by tasks that are overwhelming you

  • Break big tasks into smaller, more manageable ones
  • Brainstorm with someone – bounce around different solutions
  • Stagger the more difficult tasks in between the tasks that are more pleasant
  • Set small, manageable goals
  • Reward yourself after accomplishing a goal
